Hankies are back and Liberty print never went away.

As Taylor Swift demonstrated this year, a hankie is really useful. Not only is a reusable handkerchief a more sustainable alternative to disposable tissues, it isn't all about runny noses. Touching up make up, cleaning foggy glasses, wiping/drying hands, impromptu bib... a hankie in her handbag is always a good idea.
So why not add a touch of style too, with the timeless elegance of Liberty print in beautifully soft tana lawn cotton?

  • Another brand that began the Filled Stocking journey with us in 2017 when we had their iconic lavender fish in our collection.

Lime Tree Design was founded 15 years ago, growing from a kitchen table business to a company selling an eclectic range of gifts, jewellery and clothing to boutiques and galleries across the globe.  This is what sustainable business is all about. The company has grown thanks to its values of good British design, fine craftsmanship and perfect detailing. Kate, who founded the company, knows everyone who makes Lime Tree Design products, whether they are a resident of her village or live further afield. In particular, these hankies are made by a UK social enterprise manufacturer.  Producing in small batches to avoid over production and waste means that the supply chain is as sustainable as possible.
