It is always nice to buy things from Oxfam for the collection. This stocking is jolly and festive but it is quite small and therefore cannot hold the full 2024 collection of gifts.
So, this is another do-it-yourself option. Buy this and choose some small stocking fillers (we are very happy to get in touch by email if your selection doesn't fit in this stocking, we can make adjustments to your order) - or take it with you when you are next on your local High Street.

OXFAM Merry Stocking
Oxfam sourced this product from Hatale, a member of Fair Trade Group, Nepal that manufactures and exports handmade woollen felt items and knitwear. With over 300 employees from nearby villages, Hatale aims to improve their social and economic wellbeing. The employees benefit from good wages above minimum wage, good working conditions, maternity leave, paid leave, bonus payments and a retirement fund. Hatale also pays for the education of two of their children up to the age of 15. Their main objective is to develop Nepali traditional craft industries to improve the living standard of the producers/workers and their families from the rural areas of the country but only through Fair Trade practices.
