If she is a fan of cashmere, she will know how important it is to look after it. Over time even the best quality knitwear will be fall victim to "pilling" (bobbling) as friction from wear bonds the short fibres from the surface of your knits together. This is particularly true of luxury fibres like cashmere, which get their softness from their shorter fibres.
This wooden handled comb is easy to use and will take months or years of a much-loved cashmere jumper or coat.
This comb is made in China (something we really do try to avoid) but we bought it through a wonderful sustainable sock business called Socko.
Made from FSC® certified beech wood. All FSC®-certified forest products have been verified along the entire supply chain, from their origin to the end consumer, supporting sustainable forest management worldwide.

SOCKO Cashmere Comb
Emma’s dream of Socko began when searching for meaning in her work. By combining her talent for craft with her love of people and planet, she identified her business idea: sustainable socks.
For Socko, 'sustainable' starts with designing something that’s built to last. At the heart of Emma's company is a fundamentally great pair of socks that are designed, sourced and made in the UK. As well as making high quality socks from recycled yarn, the company teaches the lost art of darning to help people wear their clothes for longer. Emma's 'made to last' mindset is totally aligned with ours. We had Socko socks in our 2023 collection and we look forward to having them again in the future.
