The Filled Stocking Company Ltd is committed to respecting your privacy. We have built our website so that you can browse our products without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. Once you choose to provide us with any information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
We collect email addresses from people who subscribe to our mailing list.
When you order products, we will collect your name, address, email address and phone number.
When you pay for your order, your payment is handled by STRIPE payment systems. We can see transactions and whether they were successful but we do not have access to your credit or debit card details.
Our website is built using Wix.com and the Wix platform uses cookies. Some browsing data is made available to us, as part of the Wix.com analytics package, but we currently do not use, or act on, any information collected. For that reason, we encourage you to Decline All use of non-essential cookies.
We retain all data collected (your name, address, email address and phone number) for one year following your order or until you request us to remove your details from our records. All data held is protected using up to date industry standard procedures to keep it safe and secure and to prevent loss or unauthorised access. We retain your contact details in case we have any need to recall products. All customer email addresses are added to our mailing list, alongside subscribers to the mailing list.
Email Marketing
We try to keep this to a minimum. We will email our mailing list subscribers when we launch our collection and then (on average) weekly in the run up to Christmas.
Sharing your Information with Third Parties
We pass on your name, address, email address and phone number to Royal Mail or our chosen courier company, if you have placed an order and chosen our delivery option. We do not give your personal details to anyone else.
Access to your Personal Data
Under Data Protection Legislation you have the right to request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. A small fee will be payable. This fee will not exceed £10, or the prevailing statutory maximum. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please write to us at Meadow Cottage, Lane End, Hambledon, Surrey GU8 4HD. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write or e-mail us as soon as possible. We will correct any information which was found to be incorrect promptly.
